Search for a Market

A market search facility is provided In the Popular Markets pane to assist you in finding a particular market. You can perform a quick search of all available markets, or display all markets within a particular grouping, for example: Commodities, Metals, and Bonds.

Search all Available Markets

  1. From the main menu, open the Popular Markets pane. Located towards the top of the pane is the search bar.

  2. Type the name of the market you are looking for in the Search field then tap [Go].
  3. A list of markets matching the search terms is returned. The number of search results is shown to the right of the [Go] button.

Note: the search results includes any market name that begins or ends with the search term, and any market that contains the search term within the middle of its name.

Filter Market Groups

You can quickly filter the list of markets to show those that belong within a particular grouping, for example: FX, Indices, or Interest Rates markets.

  1. Tap the button located on the Search bar. A drop down menu appears showing all the available market groupings.
  2. Tap the market group you are interested in seeing. The drop down menu updates to show the available sub-categories for that group. For example, the Commodities grouping has sub-groups such as Commodities Energy, Commodities Grain, Commodities Soft and so on.
  3. Tap the sub-group you want to see.
  4. The Markets pane updates to show the markets in your selected category. The number of markets in this group is shown in the Search bar.
  5. You can further search this list by typing in the name of the market you are looking for in the Search field and then tapping [Go].

To remove a market filter, tap the button on the Search bar.

Filter Products

The [Filter Products] button displays a pop-up enabling you to select the instrument types to show in the market lists. You can select to have Options markets included or excluded from the list, or to see only CFDs or Spread Bet markets. The available choices is dependent upon your account type.
